Exhibition Details

Bright Tomorrow is an exhibition series to be launched in July 2023 in Brussels.

Syrian artists, photo journalists and videographers alongside local artists, exhibit their work. The goal is to raise awareness and funds to help Syrian organizations working in Northern-Syria after the earthquake which hit the region in February 2023.

Art pieces shown in this exhibition are donated by the artists to be sold to visitors. 50% of the proceeds go directly to the White Helmets, 20% to artists and 30% will be used to move this exhibition series further.

Background Story

In 2011, the Syrian uprising broke out demanding freedom and economic reforms. Since then, the Syrian government violently oppressed Syrians, leaving no other option for millions of Syrians except death, seeking refuge, or being arrested.. The Syrian diaspora has been growing continuously alongside Syrian suffering.

In 2023, an earthquake hit Syria and Turkey, leaving hundreds of thousands homeless on the streets and thousands were killed and displaced – some were displaced for the second or third time in the last decade.

In the middle of this darkness, we are highlighting hope, we are taking a step away from the misery to focus on rebuilding what has been destroyed.
